OVERVIEW 

Embark on an unforgettable 21-day journey through Vietnam’s rich culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant history. Begin in Hanoi, where you’ll savor delicious street food and explore the capital’s iconic landmarks. Cruise through the breathtaking limestone formations of Halong Bay, then venture to Ninh Binh, the “Halong Bay on Land,” to visit Tam Coc, Thung Nham, Mua Cave, Bai Dinh Pagoda, and Kenh Ga. Experience the imperial charm of Hue, travel along the scenic Hai Van Pass, and immerse yourself in the ancient town of Hoi An. With a mix of historical sites, nature excursions, cultural experiences, and free time, this tour offers a perfect balance of exploration and relaxation, ensuring a truly immersive Vietnamese adventure. 

TOUR PROGRAM 

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Welcome to Hanoi, the vibrant capital of Vietnam! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted at the meeting point and transferred to the hotel in the city center. 

Overnight in Hanoi, at Tirant Hotel Hanoi.  

Day 2: Hanoi Street Food Tour (B-L)

At 11:00 AM, the tour guide will pick you up from the hotel to indulge in the Hanoi Street Food Tour. Visit carefully selected, hygienic local spots to savor authentic Vietnamese dishes, enjoying 10 tastings at 8 stops. Wander through the Old Quarter’s lively alleys, sip traditional Vietnamese coffee, and gain deeper insights into the city’s food, culture, and history with your expert guide.

Overnight in Hanoi, at Tirant Hotel Hanoi.  

Day 3: Free Time & Explore Hanoi (B)

Enjoy a free day to explore Hanoi at your own pace. Visit museums, take a cyclo ride, or sip Vietnamese coffee by the lake. Optional activities include visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum or the Hanoi Train Street. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Halong Bay 3D2N Cruise (B-L-D)

At 8:00 – 8:30 AM, you’ll be picked up from the hotel and transferred by Limousine Bus, with a brief stop along the way. Arrive at 12:30 and board the Alisa Premier Cruise. After lunch, explore Sung Sot Cave and Titop Island for swimming and hiking. Enjoy a cooking class, happy hour, and a sunset party on the sundeck. After dinner, relax with optional squid fishing or karaoke. Overnight on cruise

Day 5: Halong Bay Exploration (B-L-D)

In the morning, visit the Drum & Trinh Nu Cave area for kayaking and swimming. After lunch, stop at the Pearl Farm Exhibition Center to learn about pearl farming. Return to the Alisa Cruise and bid farewell to the day boat crew.

Day 6: Transfer to Ninh Binh & Ninh Binh 3D2N Tour (B-L-D)

Start with breakfast followed by kayaking at Luon Cave. Check out and settle any bills. Enjoy a brunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbor, then disembark the cruise and transfer back to Tuan Chau Port, where the driver will meet and transfer you to Ninh Binh, known as the “Halong Bay on Land.” 

Upon arrival, visit Tam Coc for a scenic boat ride through limestone caves.

Day 7: Exploring Ninh Binh (B-L-D)

After breakfast, the tour guide and the driver will meet you to continue with the tour exploring Ninh Binh. In the morning, visit Thung Nham Bird Park, a hidden gem in Ninh Binh. Take a boat ride through bird sanctuaries, explore hidden caves, and admire the beauty of untouched nature.

Next, climb up Mua Cave, a famous viewpoint offering panoramic views over Tam Coc. The 500 steps to the top are worth it for the breathtaking scenery. Transfer back to the resort overnight. 

Day 8: Ninh Binh & Night Train to Hue (B-L-D)

Start the day by visiting Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest Buddhist temple complex in Vietnam, home to massive golden Buddha statues and impressive architecture. 

Later, explore Kenh Ga, a serene floating village where you can observe local life along the river. 

In the evening, transfer to the train station for an overnight journey to Hue in a private 4 berth cabin. 

Day 9: Arrive in Hue & Transfer to Hotel (B)

Arrive in Hue early in the morning in Hue Railway Station. The driver will meet and transfer you to the restaurant for breakfast. You can enjoy Bun Bo Hue and coffee. 

Then, the driver will transfer you to the hotel. Upon arrival, you can use the facilities in the hotel and wait until check-in time at 14:00. Rest of the day, you can explore Hue on your own, visit the Perfume River, explore ancient pagodas, and enjoy Hue’s relaxed atmosphere. Overnight at Hotel Saigon Morin. 

Day 10: Hue Immersion Full-Day Tour (B-L-D)

At 8:30 AM, the tour guide will meet you at the hotel to start the tour. Discover Hue’s culture with a cyclo ride through Kim Long, exploring lush gardens, Mandarin temples, and local crafts. Visit a Garden-House for a traditional meal and an herbal foot bath. 

Continue by motorbike to Tam Giang Lagoon, visiting an ancient village and a fisherman’s home to learn about fishing tools. Join a boat ride, experience traditional fishing, and explore life on houseboats. End your journey at a vegetable farm with a “farm-to-table” seafood dinner featuring freshly caught fish. This immersive tour highlights Hue’s heritage, farming, and fishing practices amidst the serene beauty of its lagoon.

Day 11: Free Time in Hue (B)

Relax and explore Hue at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll through the markets, try a Vietnamese cooking class, or visit a hidden cafe. Overnight in Hue.

Day 12: Transfer to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass (B)

After breakfast, check out and start the transfer to Hue. Enjoy a scenic drive from Hue to Hoi An via the breathtaking Hai Van Pass and stop for a quick photo break. 

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and explore the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An – Palm Garden Resort & Spa Hoi An 

Day 13: Free Time in Hoi An (B)

Spend the day discovering Hoi An at your own pace. Walk along the Thu Bon River, visit tailor shops, or relax at An Bang Beach. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 14: Cooking Class with Boat Tour (B-D)

At 12:30, the driver will pick you up at the hotel. Immerse yourself in Hoi An’s countryside with a half-day cooking tour in Cam Thanh village. Begin at a local market to select fresh ingredients, then ride a bamboo boat to the cooking school. Relax with a head, shoulder, and foot massage before learning to prepare four Vietnamese dishes: green mango salad, wet spring rolls, pancakes, and chicken curry with steamed rice. Afterward, enjoy your creations and experience the flavors of Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel overnight. 

Day 15-20: Free Time & Relax in Hoi An (B)

Spend these days at leisure in Hoi An. Explore ancient houses, enjoy delicious food, or take a day trip to My Son Sanctuary. Visit local cafes, relax by the beach, or take a bike ride through the countryside. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 21: Departure & Flight Home (B)

Depending on your flight time, the driver will pick you up and transfer to the airport for your flight. Bid farewell to Vietnam, taking with you unforgettable memories of culture, nature, and adventure.
