Thomas and Chien, a married couple, founded Sakima Travel, situated in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In the beginning of 2022 after Thomas served as sales manager for another travel agency in charge of Vietnam from 2016 to 2021. Sakima Travel holds a Vietnamese international tour operator licence.
