After your arrival in Luang Prabang, you will be transferred to your hotel in town. The rest of the day is free. If you arrive early, a first introduction to the city can be arranged. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Board a traditional slow boat and cruise upstream on the Mekong River toward Pak Beng, visiting local villages of different ethnic minority communities along the way. Arrive in Pak Beng in the afternoon and stay overnight.
Drive to Oudomxay Province in the mountainous heart of northern Laos. The region is rich in mountain scenery and home to many ethnic communities. In the afternoon, explore local temples and markets before checking in at Namkat Resort. Overnight at Namkat Resort.
Choose an activity that suits you, or simply spend the day relaxing and enjoying the resort. Lunch is included when taking part in selected activities. Overnight at Namkat Resort.
Enjoy another flexible day at Namkat Resort. Choose from available activities or relax and enjoy the natural surroundings at your own pace. Lunch is included when taking part in selected activities. Overnight at Namkat Resort.
Leave the resort and travel along a scenic road to Muang Khua for the start of a river cruise. Board a long-tail boat and journey down the Nam Ou River through villages and dramatic limestone landscapes. Enjoy a picnic barbecue lunch on one of the river beaches before arriving in Nong Khiaw. Overnight in Nong Khiaw.
After a one-hour boat trip on the scenic Nam Ou River, hike through the 100 Waterfalls in the jungle. A village visit is included, offering an insight into life along the Nam Ou before returning by boat to Nong Khiaw. The Mountain View tour can be chosen as an alternative. Overnight in Nong Khiaw.
A free day to explore Nong Khiaw, relax and take in the impressive karst scenery. You may also choose to explore nearby caves. Overnight in Nong Khiaw.
Travel from Nong Khiaw to Luang Prabang, following the Nam Ou River before crossing the mountains. Visit Ban Nayang, a village famous for traditional cotton weaving, then continue to UNESCO-listed Luang Prabang and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
